The
best standup show in ealbum: "The
Official Laughable Wedding Album of Kate & William" is a
humoristic
ealbum on this wedding and weddings at all. It is built as a standup
show. Cheaper, than a live show, I charge 18.18 US$ (Just if
you
decide it is of quality!) and you
can look at the jokes and understand them. No need to laugh because
others laugh while you did not hear the joke nor understood it. By the
way, I do not explain my jokes cause I do not understand them
myself...
This is a great show and that's that. This is not a how to book
nor a new age book. Just an hour of sheer happiness. I suggest you

This is the funniest wedding album I have
ever seen. Its author Arik Schenkler has a rare talent: he knows how to make
fun of everything, including himself. Just about each sentence in this album reads and feels original und very witty
– witty in an intelligent way. It starts with a humorous introduction. Here are
few quotes: “The intention of this album is to make you laugh. I demonstrate my
stupidity and inability to draw speak and write at the same time.” A few lines
further down it says: "please do not criticize me or the album – I
already know.”
There is nothing to criticize. There are
grammatical mistakes that are so good you would actually miss them if they
weren’t there. There are drawings that are so naive you can’t help but laugh
out loud. There are audios that adds to the fun.
The book mentions Allah, Buddha, Karl
Marx, Mr. Bean and others as God and then apologizes that you were not
included.
But it is largely about Kate and William’s
wedding, and of course also about Harry, the Queen, Pippa and guests from the
Queen Banker to Elton John. The author thinks about something comical about
everybody. Now and then there are bits and pieces of a philosophical nature:
“But the newly wed couple is going to live in a house designed by Time.” Three
lines further down you can read: “Lucky for the newly wed couple that they will
keep young and loving for ever.” And there is political humour: Kate says: “I
have opened the Iranian ambassador gift.” Prince William screams:
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO….” And underneath you see a little painting of an exploding
atom bomb.
This is a unique, beautiful and, as I said
before, very witty book. The author is a comic genius. I recommend this book to everybody who wants to laugh,
laugh, laugh…

Official Laughable Wedding Album of Kate
and William should come with a warning label! It is seriously laughable and it
cleverly takes society norms, politics, properness, princes , princesses,
poems, photographs and puts all of that and more in a humorous perspective. I
love the marriage of artistic illustrations, speech bubbles and tag lines. A
thoughtful combination of creative writing together with satire, wit and gloves
off controversy. Why! I really enjoyed
this colorful and eclectic memorabilia of a famous marriage and all the hype
and pomp of memory and ceremony. How the famous and infamous connect and
disconnect with love and life! Arik...bloody
funny you are!! Love your work of art! 5 stars to you!
